Leaking Condensation water - If your air conditioning unit is leaking water, it is most likely condensation water. Over time the drains will clog. cleaning the drain lines outr with a shop vac, compressed air or nitrogen. you may have to cut into the line (typically pvc) to clear out the drain.
Pro Tip- Many units are equiiped with low volatge cut off triggered by drain float switch. if you lose power unexpectedly to the thermostat or the condenser unit outside stiops running, check for safety cut off float switch and unclog the drain as needed.
The best way to handle this is to prevent it in the first place. Installing an auto drain cleaner device can save money on future issues and prevent downtime.

Outside condenser fan not coming on / Compressor not running - One common issue that arrises with many a/c umnits in a failed capacitor. Capacitors must be tested using an electric multimeter (volt meter) set on capacitance the capcitor must be within the range indicated on the outside of the device. There are many size and variations for capacitors here are some links to a few common capacitors.
Pro tip- Calling the manufacturer can be helpful in determining the oppropriate parts and troubleshooting common issues.
